ICANN Publishes Fiscal Year 2026 Second Quarter Management Financial Results

12 February 2026

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has published its fiscal year 2026 (FY26) second quarter (Q2) management financial results. ICANN also has published the FY26 Q2 management financial results for its affiliate, Public Technical Identifiers (PTI).

Funding for ICANN Operations through December 2025 was higher than budget and higher than the same period in the previous year, driven by higher-than-planned domain name transactions, registrar accreditation, and application fees.

ICANN Operations expenses through December 2025 are lower than budget and flat to the same period last year. The variance to budget is largely driven by lower-than-planned headcount.

ICANN's quarterly financial results include ICANN Operations and other segments such as the New gTLD Program, the ICANN Grant Program, and projects funded by the Supplemental Fund for the Implementation of Community Recommendations. These results and other financial documents are available on the ICANN Financial and Planning Information webpage and the PTI Financial Information webpage.

About ICANN

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
